The photos looked good. But the rooms are very basic and they take very little effort to impress. Generally clean. You would need to pay for parking around the area unless you park overnight. No escalator or lift, so if you have challenge walking up stairs, please reconsider. The only reason I chose this hotel was that it was convenient for me to exit into the penang bridge in the morning without going through the town traffic.

What I like: 1. Bed - so comfortable. The mattress is not hard, even expensive hotel doesn't have this kind of comfort 2. Location - 2 minutes walking distance to Queensbay. There are lots of cafe downstairs. 3. Price - not too expensive What I hate: 1. Soundproofing - I read other reviews said the soundproofing is bad but I don't believe it. I don't think it's too bad. But actually it is really bad. You can hear people talking, like they're in your room! So don't have hardcore sex with ur partner haha 2. I don't get the same setup like in the pictures. I get the bathroom besides the bed, totally different with pictures 3. Can't sleep even the bed is so good Note to others : 1. I don't get any toiletries 2. Parking will be fulled except at night and you need to pay parking fee. 50sen per 30 minutes

Came here for a 4D 3N stay with friends but was very difficult to get a sound sleep each night because of the noise coming from the opposite pub which only stops at around 2:30am. There's a downside to the cheap prices here! That said, the place gets a two star rating from me because the room was relatively clean.

Room is small, crowded. Aircond is not strategically located, takes longer time to cool the room. Noisy sound at night from the pub right in front. Staff is always missing from the front counter, thus delaying my time.

Noisy noisy noisy noisy noisy noisy noisy!!...Had to work early...Cannot sleep at night as it is next to a pub...The whole room (with window facing the pub) was shaking from the disco music!!..Even though it was already after 2 am!!...avoid this hotel..regret staying there..no soap and kettle..Just towel n hv to walk up with bags..no sound proofing...
